Professional Research from Norway

I have extensive education within teaching and history and have been doing genealogy research for the past 30 years. In 2001, I began working as a genealogist, speaker and an author. In recent years, I have focused on research in England and the U.S., looking for answers with regards to emigration from Norway.

My specialty is:
- Genealogy research in Norway.
- Searching for people who emigrated to US or Canada.

My first book about genealogy research, «Slektsgransking med dataveiledning» was published in 2001. «Slektsgranskerens guide til utvandringen 1825-1930» about emigration and genealogy research, was published in Norway in the fall of 2008. My third book about Norwegian Genealogy, «Slektsgransking. Steg for steg med praktiske eksempler», was published at Aschehoug Forlag in 2010. «Slektsgranskerens guide til utvandringen 1825-1930» was edited and republished 2013. A book about basic genealogy research was published in 2015 - «På sporet av familien».
