Patricia Dingwall Thompson taught high school English for 37 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, and a Master’s Degree from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma. She and her husband Jim became involved with genealogy after a trip to Tricia’s ancestral village of Dingwall in the Scottish Highlands in 1996.

Tricia has been a certified genealogist from 2001-2011 and has published articles in The New Hampshire Genealogical Record and Everton’s Genealogical Helper. She teaches Beginning Genealogy in Bozeman, Montana.
