Research is conducted at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Diane is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and has attended many genealogical conferences and seminars. She is dedicated to keeping up-to-date on the latest research techniques, including the internet. In addition, Diane has assisted patrons with their genealogical research in a Family History Center for over ten years. She has 25 years experience in the research of 18th, 19th, and 20th century US records, Civil War records, colonial records, government and land records, census records, LDS records, vital records (birth, marriage, death records), probate records, and Scottish/English research (including parish records, civil registration, and census records).
Let Diane assist you with on-site research in the state of Utah (including cemetery photography) as well as research at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, the largest genealogical library in the world.
Rates: $30.00 per hour plus expenses. Expenses include the cost of copies and postage, fees required for ordering legal documents (such as birth, marriage, and death certificates), and travel expenses for on-site research. An initial $300.00 retainer fee will provide 10 hours of research. Research time includes:
The analysis of your genealogical goals
The examination of pertinent records
The writing of reports (including pedigree charts, family group sheets, computer data entry, gedcom files)
