I have been providing family and local history research services to private individuals, authors and academic institutions for the past 15 years. I also run a series of family history research courses, both through the Norfolk Family History Society and through the online tutoring service Pharos. I have a first degree (BA) in History / Sociology and an MA in History / Politics. I have a Post Graduate qualification in teaching adults (PGCE (PCE))and over 6 years of experience as a records clerk at the Norfolk Records Office. I cover the whole of East Anglia, including Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Lincolnshire and I provide a full range of services including Parish Registers, Poor Law records, Census returns, Probate records, Newspapers and much much more. I can flesh out the lives of your ancestors by researching where they lived, the history of the surrounding area, it's economic climate and social divisions and the effect of world events upon them. I provide a full photographic service and can present your family history as a series of reports or as a fully bound narrative book.
