A Professional Genealogist based on the edge of London, UK. for Family History Research
Based in Hertfordshire on the edge of North London, Genealines is a small family run business with a large coverage area.
I have been researching family trees for over 10 years and have visited records offices and sites from the South Coast of England to North Lancashire, and into the fields of Flanders in Belgium and France. I am happy to go as far afield as is necessary to assist you in building your tree.
Having traced parts of my own family back into the 16th Century, and traced family as far away as Australia, Canada, and the United States, I understand the paths and pitfalls that are encountered, especially pre 1837 when records become far more difficult to locate.
I offer many options when it comes to assisting you in filling in the missing pieces in your family trees, from an advice service through to a complete package of specific line research. If you cannot see what you would like then please call me to arrange a quote for bespoke research specific to your needs.
Maybe you are like me and not content with just lines of Grand Parents, but need to know more, such as what your relative's lives were actually like, where they lived, what they did for a living, through to the fascination of finding a relative who fell foul of the law or was in the Militia. This is all part of the service offered by Genealines.
I am an Associate Member of The Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives (AGRA), at www.agra.org.uk , a member of The Society of Genealogists at www.sog.org.uk , and am a member of various organisations to assist me further in my research, such as The Manchester and Lancashire Family History Society, The Hampshire Genealogical Society, The Berkshire Family History Society, and the History Societies of both Biggleswade and Potton in Bedfordshire.
I also specialise in tracing Military History, and the translation of Spanish and Latin, so please give me a call for a free consultation to discuss your full requirements in your search for your family history.
I look forward to being of service to you.

Currently a Certificate for Birth, Marriage, or Death is £9.25, a charge set by the GRO (General Register Office) www.gro.gov.uk
