WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL SITE
There is no central site for The Festival but rather, Folklorama is spread throughout the entire city of Winnipeg in permanent venues that each represent a culture from around the world. In 2003, 47 cultures were showcased throughout the two weeks.
WHO ATTENDS THE FESTIVAL
There is something for absolutely everyone at Folklorama! In 2003, Folklorama welcomed 438,000 pavilion visits and another 50,000 people to the Government of Canada Folklorama Kick-Off at Assiniboine Park.
The Festival can generally attract over 400,000 pavilion visits each summer! A festival with heart and soul, Folklorama is whatever you want and make it to be.
