Wayward Trails Genealogy Service was founded by Carla P. Blake, MBA, CPA. Carla has over 13 years of experience in genealogy research. After several years of researching her own lineage, she began to take requests by others to travel back in their past in search of elusive ancestors. She has found many lost cousins and a skeleton or two in the closet.

Carla is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the National Genealogical Society. She is also the Group Administrator for two DNA projects at Family Tree DNA. She has a Masters of Business Administration and holds an active CPA license in the state of TN.
