Kent England Research

Church of England Baptism Index for parts of West Kent and northern East Sussex

This index is one of the unique resources on which I am able to draw, and indeed without additional charge to clients who commission me to undertake more general research, especially in West Kent. It includes all the baptisms recorded in the registers, or Bishop's Transcripts etc where stated, of the following parishes, between the covering dates given, a total of about 160,000 entries.

Full details of any entries found, taken from microfilm or other copies of original sources, can be supplied, normally by email. The basic fee of £10.00 (where this service is provided on its own and not as part of a wider research project) covers noting full details of the baptism of a given person exactly as this appears in the relevant original register, and of those of any of his or her siblings which also appear in the index.

For a complete listing for any surname from this index, or from all my indexes, please ask for a quote. Please note that I have specialised in research in this area for over 35 years and have always made strenuous efforts to ensure accuracy in this index, just as in all my other indexing and research work. I have also added to it numerous cross-references and other notes which may prove helpful in identifying elusive ancestors.
