1-Samuel McQUITTY was born in 1751 in County Antrim, Ireland and died about 1835 in Highland County, Ohio about age 84. 

Samuel married Hannah CURRY, daughter of CURRY and Unknown, about 1780 in , , Virginia.  Hannah was born about 1760 in , , Virginia and died after 1840 in Salem Twp, Highland, Ohio. They had nine children: John, Jane, William, Mary, Hiram M, Jonathan, Thomas, Samuel L, and Joseph.

2-John McQUITTY was born on 23 Oct 1781 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania and died on 25 Oct 1849 in White Oak Twp., Highland, Ohio at age 68. 

John married Nancy Ann WALKER on 25 Feb 1808 in New Market Twp, Highland, Ohio.  Nancy was born on 3 Sep 1791 and died on 26 Feb 1855 in White Oak Twp., Highland, Ohio at age 63. They had six children: Mary, William Henry, Lucinda, Nancy Ann, Cary, and Hannah C.

2-Jane McQUITTY was born about 1783 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. 

Jane married William P FINLEY, son of Robert W FINLEY and Rebecca, on 21 Jun 1807 in New Market Twp, Highland, Ohio.  William was born about 1780 of Highland Co.Ohio and died about Jul 1822 in White Oak Twp., Highland, Ohio about age 42.

2-William McQUITTY was born about 1785 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania and died after 1850 in , Boone, Indiana. 

William married Polly BARNGREVER on 11 May 1818 in Liberty Twp, Highland, Ohio.  Polly was born about 1790 of Highland Co.Ohio.

William next married Elizabeth BARNGREVER on 6 Nov 1820 in Highland County, Ohio.  Elizabeth was born about 1790 of Highland Co.Ohio.

2-Mary McQUITTY was born about 1787 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. 

Mary married Samuel BOYD on 21 Apr 1814 in Liberty Twp, Highland, Ohio.  Samuel was born about 1785 in Mason County, Kentucky.

2-Hiram M McQUITTY was born about 1790 in Mason County, Kentucky and died after 1850 in Boone County, Indiana. 

Hiram married Hannah CROZIER on 18 May 1820 in Highland County, Ohio.  Hannah was born about 1795 of Highland Co.Ohio and died from 1836 to 1839 in , Boone, Indiana about age 41. They had two children: Van Buren and Mary.

Hiram next married Nancy Jane HIGGINS, daughter of Elias HIGGINS and Mary FOOTE, on 25 Dec 1839 in , Boone, Indiana.  Nancy was born on 12 May 1814 in West Liberty, Brook County, Virginia, died in 1854 in Boone County, Indiana at age 40, and was buried in 1854 in Eagle Village, Boone County, Indiana.

2-Jonathan McQUITTY was born about 1793 in Mason County, Kentucky. 

2-Thomas McQUITTY was born about 1795 in Mason County, Kentucky and died after 1847 in Highland County, Ohio. 

Thomas married Martha (Patsy) (Nancy) Mc CLELLAND on 18 Jan 1821 in Clermont County, Ohio.  Martha was born about 1800 of Highland Co.Ohio. They had one child: Rebecca.

2-Samuel L McQUITTY was born about 1798 in Mason County, Kentucky. 

Samuel married Rachel LEDMIN on 23 Nov 1820 in Liberty Twp, Highland, Ohio.  Rachel was born about 1788 of Highland Co.Ohio.
