Sarah Doig offers a friendly, professional and confidential family, property and local history research. She specialises in genealogy and local history in East Anglia (Suffolk, Norfolk. Cambridgeshire and Essex) and in the main London repositories. However, she will undertake research projects which cover ancestry from anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales.

Recognising that many people wish to undertake some or all of the research themselves but need help with identifying sources or with getting over/through a brick wall, Sarah Doig offers face-to-face coaching and advice in East Anglia and internet coaching, including drawing up of research plans.

Sarah Doig has a postgraduate qualification in Librarianship & Information Sudies from University College, London and is currently studying for the Higher Certificate at the well-respected Institure of Heraldic & Genealogical Studies (www.ihgs.ac.uk), having spent the past 15 years researching her own family history.
