Having completed courses in old Scottish handwriting at Dundee & Edinburgh Universities I am able to offer a transcribing service for older Scottish documents. The most common requests are for Testaments and Wills,Deeds,Retours,Sasines and Old Parish or Kirk Session Records.

I also have a little knowledge of Latin which was also commonly used until the 19th century.If you have such a document that you require help with,then please scan and email a copy or photocopy and mail.Estimated costs are £10/page depending on difficulty.
