Hello, my name is Lidiya Kalantyrenko. I have lived in Ukraine all my life, and am a graduate of Kharkiv National University called V. N. Karazin with a Master's degree in Sociology. I am fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English. I grew up in a small village, so I am familiar with the "surzhyk" way of speaking that is common there. If you are coming to Ukraine in search of your roots, or just for travel, and you are looking for an interpreter or a travel assistant, I will be happy to help. I can especially help if you are looking to travel to villages to interview your living relatives. I can accompany you and help you to find a place to stay, as well as to help you visit the family and to translate the conversation.
